why did app speed up?

We've noticed that around the time of release, the application became noticeably faster.

While this is great, we should know why.

One possibility is that a dependency or dependencies update was responsible.

Another possibility is that a change in the browser's httpInterceptor was responsible.

Attempt to isolate the commit at which the improvement first becomes apparent, and drill down into the root cause.
