VirtualFolders API support

Hi @marcellourbani, I would like to add support for VirtualFolders, any hints for doing this?

I guess it would be a new file under /src/api/ ?

Really didn't look into it yet, but I guess so. Sorry for the delay, I just didn't see this. Will have a look, but the next few weeks I'll be travelling.
