DMT 2.4.8.1 availbale as package at repo.megento.com, github release not available but you can use this commit https://github.com/magento/data-migration-tool/commit/06126f33b1972f138aef2464f9e15f193a3df730 as release (due to some technical reasons github release will be added later)

Running composer require magento/data-migration-tool:2.4.8.1 works for me. 2.4.8 has a incompatible dependency definition on monolog/monolog, so that's why they probably released 2.4.8.1 where it got fixed.

Would still be nice to see it being published here on github, but it's indeed available on repo.magento.com

Version 2.4.8.1 has been published on GitHub yesterday: https://github.com/magento/data-migration-tool/releases/tag/2.4.8.1

So I think we can close this issue now @HRR1337, could you do that?

@HRR1337 we have technical issue with Github, but now 2.8.4.1 release is available
