Lucas Chess starts with random board position

Hi,

every time I start LC there is some random? mateInOne? pieces on the board, see attachment. The moment I click a main menu entry LC then puts all pieces to initial chess position. Why not directly after start?

It is not mate in 1. It is a competition where the only best move is asked for, which can serve to warm up the brain cells. And at the user's discretion, it can be solved (10 positions) or continue with any option of the program.
