Update doesn't update version number of Lucas.exe

Open stonecrusher opened this issue 7 years ago • 4 comments

After updating if you look into the properties of Lucas.exe it is still the old version. Probably because nothing changed at that particular file in that update.

Unfortunately that's where update programs like SuMo look for the installed version number and therefore report wrong.

Where can SuMo reliably find the installed version number? Or maybe add a fix which changes the file properties to the new version number?

Using Windows 8.1

File Code/init.py has the version number, Current version of binaries is 11.06c. Current version of sources is 11.06c1. Differences are in relation to linux.

Oh don't worry, it's nothing time critical. It's been a long time like that. It would just be cool if the version number would be detectable by other programs and usually this is possible by looking at the .exe
