I a meeting we decided to not do the 2.0 release yet. The crossed out points will be considered as non breaking and done before a 2.0 release.

I started an implementation similar to the ones in Node and Java, will try to finish tomorrow :)

What do you think @adams85 and @laliconfigcat? If you think this solutions is fine I could add the web-provider, if you do not want to do it.
