ERROR: Could not build wheels for gnureadline, which is required to install pyproject.toml-based projects
I am running into the same issue, I'd fix it or try and compile it myself I but don't know any C. I have been trying to install a Python3 project that depends on this package, and it fails to compile on an Intel based Mac running Sonoma 14.4

With these two modifications from https://github.com/ludwigschwardt/python-gnureadline/pull/67, I was able to compile and use the module again.
I've finally released gnureadline 8.2.10 to PyPI. Thanks again for your patience 😅
I've checked on macOS 14.5 (23F79) + Python 3.12.3: it's OK now.
Thnx!
Excellent, thanks for reporting back!
