[Bug]: GraphQL query variable interpolation "String cannot represent a non string value"

Current Behavior

Variable interpolation in the GraphQL queries is raising errors "String cannot represent a non string value". But it works if I copy the same content (including the variable interpolation) in a temporary state, and put it in the graphql query.

1. Create a module
2. Create a input continentCode
3. Create a GraphQL query
