This feature has been merged now (thanks @AlexVarchuk !), so you'll find it on the main branch. It will be in Redoc itself at the next release.

This is a nice idea, but OpenAPI specifies that only a particular markdown flavour is supported, so we'll keep our tool aligned with the specification on this.
