I made some small improvements regarding the behaviour when the search bar is emptied.

Also I added a loading spinner that is visible while the system fetches data after a search requests. Helpful on slow (mobile) networks, as before there was not really a way to tell if the request was made successfully.

It would be awesome if you could merge develop into main and put out a new release after merging #6, #7 and this one @lorenzofiamingo, thanks a lot!
