You must recompile Ruby with OpenSSL - Ubuntu 18.04 - ruby 2.3.5

Fix which worked for me `rvm install 3.0.3 --with-openssl-dir=/opt/homebrew/etc/[email protected]` PS. Find the correct openssl location in your machine and install ruby pointing to that path like above, mentioning the brew...
