Mailing lists
It feels like we need at least two lists:
- for people who're interested in the project
- for urgent communications between the councils (taking the field renaming work as an example)
Hey @willguv - you've got the main newsletter mailing list.
Do we need to set up a technical mailing list for security and change announcements? I think the answer is yes, in which case we should explore how to make sure it is easy to maintain and clear rules of engagement.
I wonder if something like MailMan would make sense.
Hi @finnlewis yes we need a technical mailing list too. I don't mind the technology we use, but let's loop Tim in as he does most of the management and communication for our main list

Yes! Seems like a great idea Better segmentation of the current list would be the ideal (on mailchimp) from my perspective. But a second list on there would also be fine (and perhaps easier to put together than creating new segments T
