Visual mode doesn't stop after a replacement command

Steps to reproduce

1. Put this into a new buffer:

    ONE
    TWO
   

2. Exit insert mode.

3. Put cursor on first line (xxx).

4. Vj to select both lines.

5. :'<,'>s/ONE/THREE/ to replace ONE with THREE.

Expected

I am out of visual mode.

If I press u at this point, it should undo the operation, leaving me with

ONE
TWO

Actual Result

I am still in visual mode.

If I press u at this point, it runs vim-mode-plus:lower-case, which result in this:
