First and foremost consider this:

black screen with vulkan on mali gpu

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. select vulkan on driver video
2. start any core/games
3. black screen but sound works and input works

• RetroArch: 4d3587a 9/07/2022 arm64-v8a from buildbot

Environment information

• OS: android 11 on samsung sm-a035g
• Compiler: android v8 64bit

Cannot reproduce this on a Samsung Galaxy S10 and a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.

i have mali g57 idk if on better samsung have new gpu/soc

ah ok not all core give me blackscreen try with fceumm

@naxil You may try to submit some information with Vulkancapsviewer also get some log with something like pidcat or logcat.

At last you should know that some cores require Vulkan 1.0 or Vulkan 1.1.
