Doesn't work when daily note is already created.

Describe the bug

I am attempting to open my daily note from the calendar plugin. I am able to open the note via the "Open daily note" core plugin but I want to use calendar as well and calendar fails.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create today's daily note by hand or with the core plugin.
  2. Click on today's date.
  3. It will prompt you to create a new note and then fail.

Expected behavior

It should just open the daily note.

I'm experiencing this same issue.

In my case, I have my daily notes in this format: YYYY/MM-MMMM/DD-ddd If I remove a folder nesting and make it something like YYYY/MM-DD-ddd, it will start working again, but I would have to update the formatting on all of my previous notes to switch over to this format (which is less than ideal) 😕

I also tried various iterations of the formatting in case that was the culprit, but regardless of the date formatting used, it breaks as soon as I get two folders deep.

I seem to have a similar problem with Obsidian v1.7.3 when using locale override. Do you use locale override? And did it work fine in previous versions of Obsidian?

+1, same issue, but restarting Obsidian fixes it until the next day when I manually create the next note.
