IMHO a case of scope creep: one can just add it to the Web UI instead, and use it when running under the same account - I have done it by now, alongside SuperPower chat etc, last month, and some for Edge aka Sydney Chat by now as well.

Somewhat related comment: by now folks add such plugins or code and command assistants even to their terminals to auto create the command lines and run without confirmation! (Yes, they also work under admin and root - I have sanity checked one or two.) More than crazy: see my robotic (!) and ironic comment to just one of such half-moribund and quarter-QAed tools, found today by chance, and yesterday by (Bing) Chat GPT itself (another !).

Indeed someone can use it via the GUI. However, what if someone wants to use it via API calls/programmatically?
