[Bug] control key navigation causes unexpected behavior

Bug description

I used to navigate in text using control key and arrows but on the prompt input text field this causes unexpected behavior (ctrl + <-) or (ctrl + ->)

I agree and I mentioned it over a week ago. Ubuntu here: the usual ctrl + <- , which is used to jump one word back, seems to go one thread back, thus refreshing the screen and losing the currently typed prompt.
