Hi,

I noticed that docs/allen_software.md was not referenced in mkdocs.yml file.

Besides, you markdown file has a very specific name. What about creating a docs/genetics.md or docs/genetics-software.md and having a menu that will anticipate other contributions ? :)

Sounds good - I added the doc on the mkdocs on a later commit but will change name and have another PR. Angelika
