I changed my `EpubBook epubBook = EpubReader.ReadBook(bookPath);` to `EpubBookRef epubBook = EpubReader.OpenBook(bookPath);` and was able to resolve this issue

I think tesseract on linux requires an additional install. `apt-get` something. I might look in the tesseract notes.
