If you want to export a certain entity together with its attached files, its not trivial, as you have to export potentially multiple files and then the main entity.

This gets even more fun, once you have the media machinery in place. One tricky solution here could be to build a dependency graph on the export, and make it possible, similar to the import, to export them all.
