No support for amd64 parallels vagrant boxes as of 14.x
It seems there are no amd64 vagrant boxes available for the latest 14.x release using the parallels provider. Is this by design and should I fall back to Virtualbox?
Starting with the 14.0.0 release there are only amd64 vagrant boxes available for Virtualbox, as can be seen on:
https://app.vagrantup.com/laravel/boxes/homestead
Versions
- Vagrant: 2.4.1
- Provider: Parallels
- Homestead: 14.x
Host operating system
macOS 14.4 (23E214) (Intel)
Expected behavior
Adding a recent laravel/homestead:^14.0 vagrant box.
Actual behavior
It adds an older laravel/homestead:^13.0 vagrant box.
$ vagrant box add laravel/homestead --provider parallels
==> box: Loading metadata for box 'laravel/homestead'
box: URL: https://vagrantcloud.com/api/v2/vagrant/laravel/homestead
==> box: Adding box 'laravel/homestead' (v13.0.0) for provider: parallels (amd64)
Steps to reproduce
vagrant box add laravel/homestead --provider parallels

Without realizing it I stopped building amd64 Parallels boxes. 🤔

I am attempting to build a fresh amd64 parallels box but macOS/Packer/Parallels is giving me fits so it's taking some more time.
