Visibility of command line mode

We can move to vim command line mode by typing : . The window of command line mode appears within a cell, and it hides a part of the cell. Can you move the window of command line mode outside of cells? sample

Technically, I think it is not impossible but I don't feel to investigate the situation and implement while I'm fine with the current one.

I almost feel like this could be ameliorated by increasing the transparency of the command line, would be awesome if someone felt like taking over this issue. 👍
