This used to work for a while, and now stopped again as of #212. Now it's a bit of a blocker.
Great, thank you for investigation!
This would help a problem we have in Firefox, where some of the dependencies may have WASM-specific dependencies (https://github.com/grovesNL/glow), which are dragged into the 3rd party sources by `cargo vendor`.
Thank you! Note that Tint does the same.
@IsaccBarker thank you! What changes need to be done, exactly? Pages enabled in what way?
Thanks for the info! I switched the github pages source to github actions, but the CI action still seems to be failing. Anything I'm missing?
We don't have any introspection into the type, so we are at mercy of the Rust compiler, still. I don't know what we could do to support this case. Ideas...
Sure, this isn't a blocker. However, doing map/unmap manually also requires handling the flush/invalidation for non-coherent memory, which is tedious. A session-based reader/writer would strictly be better in this case.
That would be inferior to RAII. Are you concerned about safety guarantees when doing this, so that closure helps you to preserve them? I think there are no guarantees here...
