Hi @lakshya8066. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a kubernetes member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.

Thanks for opening this PR @lakshya8066 . I missed the fact that we need kubernetes/kubernetes to be the working directory for snyk test (build time dependency scanning) but not necessarily for snyk test $image (container image scanning). Your PR helped me make that discovery :)

However, this increases the complexity of this change, massively where I feel it would be unfair to ask a new contributor to do that. I am gonna try and make some updates in the upcoming weeks to make this a bit easier and then come back with new instructions on how we can achieve the same.

(Most likely we will split build time dependency and container image scans into two and then move container image scan shell script only to k/sig-security repo)

I am sorry I have not been able to pay attention to this yet. I will re-open this at a later time when I have some cycles to work on what I promised above: https://github.com/kubernetes/test-infra/pull/27561#issuecomment-1252879268
