More fine-grained filtering (e.g. separate note on and note off)

For instance, filter just note-ons but not note-offs.

Also filter by channel in a more controlled way -- pick exactly which set of channels to show, not just all or one.

One use case:

it would be great to be able to see MIDI note ons only, instead of ons and off. When I’m testing I’m often trying to see the velocity of incoming MIDI notes, and having both the ons and offs makes it harder to see what I’m looking for.

it would make my life a whole lot easier if I would've been able to simply filter out all the sustain pedal messages
