REQUEST: a way to accept a file edit AND give the AI an instruction that will be added immediatley after..

WHen working with multi-step tasks, I often run into the problem that I want to ACCEPT a file edit, but I also want to inject some new instructions right now,, and there is no way to do this presently.

I can "reject" the file edit, and then say 'reapply the edit, then XYZ', but this puts alot of junk into the prompt and takes a long time

I can accept the edit, then "pause" the processing a moment later, and inject something new, but this often interferes with the multi-task flow.

I want a way to type a text instruction to be given to the AI immediately after the file accept confirmation is given to the AI before it runs off and starts processing the accept confirmation and working on the next thing.
