Welcome menu on launch is aesthetically unappealing

Hey there! I love ThiefMD, believe it can be great however the welcome menu doesn't make a good initial impression when you show it to people. I'm potentially interested in having a go at improving it myself, but want to know if it's something everyone agrees about or are currently working on before I dive into it.
