What about using the episode tracking notification to highlight there has probably been an episode tracking issue and offering the correction menu? Then you would quickly crowd source the data.

Warning the user that the episode tracking has probably gone wrong would still be helpful

This problem is also effecting my project. https://jimmywarting.github.io/StreamSaver.js/examples/saving-a-blob.html doesn't work on IOS Chrome (its fine in IOS Safari). You click the button and nothing happens and no errors are thrown....
