FOV

Open rom4ntic opened this issue 4 years ago • 6 comments

Hello, I have a problem with FOV using GD3D11. I wanted to keep it like in classic Gothic which was 90X and 90Y but everytime I talk to some NPC in game my FOV is changing drastically. Do you know how can I make it stay always the same ???

Disable FOV override and use Systempack / Union

Does it happen without Dx11 as well? (rename ddraw.dll to e.g., ddraw1.dll

No, FOV stays the same all the time without Dx11.

Hey folks, got the same issue over here (Resolution 5760x1200 with FOVH=140 and FOVV=290); they get reseted when talking to a NPC, otherwise it works fine. (When changing it e.g. to 141 and back to 140 it is fine again)

I had the same problem all the time, for me it is related to Union. I had to switch back to the system pack for "Die Rückkehr - 1.15.6" because it crashes with Union after I load a SaveGame.

Maybe it is related to some change in the FOV calculation from Union.
