I notice GIFs uploaded aren't attached to any Imgur account (or not mine at least).

Have you considered this as a feature - allowing me to login to my Imgur account so they are in My Images?

You can define your own Client ID in the settings. Open ~/Library/Application Support/Kap/plugins/kap-imgur.json

There will be a more clear way to open this config when Kap v2 is out.

I'll keep this issue open for discovery.

Thanks for that. I've changed the clientId to one I had generated for another app on Imgur, but unfortunately I don't see new Kap uploads in my "Uploaded Images" area on Imgur.

Yes, currently only anonymous uploads are supported. To be able to upload media to your own account we'll need to implement OAuth.
