Does not work in Internet Explorer 8? (did it ever?)

The example does not work in IE8:

http://kevinburke.github.io/customize-twitter-1.1/

The Twitter widget appears, but there is no custom styling.

I am using IE8 on WinXP VM.

Hi, I believe the widget has never worked with IE 8. For me at least, IE8 represents a small enough subset of users that compatibility hasn't been much of a priority for me. I believe I'd have to change the current use of frames to use contentDocument instead but I'd have to check on it.

According to http://theie8countdown.com/, 10% of the world is still using IE8. Small subset? Yes and no. :) The lazy part of me would urge you to try to support IE8, but why force the problem on to developers? I should perhaps just tell the user that his browser is too out-dated for this feature. Just a pity he will have to upgrade his entire OS because WinXP can't run IE9. Unless I can persuade him to use a browser other than IE that is..

According to stat counter the IE8 market is under 3% So yes small market and no longer supported ;)
