The fix for this issue was merged with the most recent STS bump and will be included in the upcoming July release (1.49.0). Related PR linked to issue above.

@xfischer unfortunately .Net Core SqlClient doesn't support querying spatial column types (except as binary data). We've been discussing with them to add this support, but apparently it is a significant...

@lewis-sanchez this is a good issue to looking into. I think we're currently copying to clipboard from the UI process, which requires streaming the entire result set over an IPC...
