I checked with KDE, there seems to be some issue with the system theme when application window tries to maximize itself at the start. It expands beyond the screen width....

for windows, there is binary [available](https://github.com/kanishka-linux/kawaii-player/releases), which one can use directly. otherwise, one has to add `mpv-1.dll` manually to the system path, where it could be found automatically.
