Make nfs mode work on linux

Hi, not sure if you're interested in PRs for this repository.

This change made nfs mode work for me on linux (ubuntu 24.04), if you run git-commit-folders as root. That's not ideal- I can look for ways to avoid the need for root if you're interested.
