I want to take a look at this, but I'm not seeing any clear instructions on how to operate it. I do see some example programs in /scripts, but it doesn't cover how to compile or anything.

Perhaps this could benefit from a "Getting Started" page on the wiki?

Err, yeah. The compiler is very much a work in progress still, and i've got it sort of gutted in my current WC adding more structured data support to it... It's not really ready for a "Getting Started" page ;)
