the bqplot documentation is not relying on sphinx nor jupyter-sphinx anymore. Is it still a wanted feature ? I think it's the same issue as websites including maps, the management of the zoom is conflicting between the page and the interactive frame and I don't know any easy solution for that.

If the example you were linking in the issue is still existing in a way could you update the link and let us know how mkdocs is dealing with it ?
