Is it possible to merge this? It's currently failing on Python 3.5 which will be obsolete next month. This is currently blocking upgrading our own applications unfortunately.
We've forked this repository to get around it, which was useful as we found that this also needs a bump in `setup.py`.
@qisizhang the only real solution to this is to run it on a Unix-based system. You won't find .so files on Windows.
