It could also be nice if specified media attributes (especially simple booleans or enums) were editable directly on the media cards.

This is on the output side only (server should determine what is "valid" for outputs). Input validation should remain in place.

Side note - this solution could be applied to bulk editing of media as well on the project detail view (which currently has the same behavior).
