Code refactor to support latest react native version

In reference to #10 , is there any plans to re-factor the current code to support the latest react native release? There are a lot of breaking changes off late. So, I just wanted to know.

@bozzmob Just as in #10 - kind of busy right now. Would you be able to compile a list of things that would have to be changed?

I will be having a fork and will work on it to fix the issues. Hope you don't mind with this. It would be great if you can give some inputs on the issues when you are free. :)

I have made a project with android and ios support. But, I am not able to progress in finding the list of things that have to be migrated yet. I am having the following issue. Please can you have a look at it? :)
