JMapper with java 9 modules

I tried implementing JMapper in my project and I use the annotation way described in: https://www.baeldung.com/jmapper But our project is using java 9 modules, my module info contains the following 'import'

requires jmapper.api; requires jmapper.core;

When I only have the API it will complain saying java: package com.googlecode.jmapper is not visible When I only have the core it will complain saying java: cannot access com.googlecode.jmapper.api.IJMapper class file for com.googlecode.jmapper.api.IJMapper not found When I have both it complains saying: java: module com.zaxxer.hikari reads package com.googlecode.jmapper.api from both jmapper.api and jmapper.core

This seems like JMapper does not support java 9 modules, can this be added?
