Absolutely cool and important, but I think there are other more important things right now. I don't think we will be working on this for .NET 8.

Thanks for this suggestion! As Xamarin.Forms is now in maintenance mode, this will not happen anymore for Xamarin.Forms. We're only adding bugfixes and stability fixes. If this is still important...

I think at this point it's safe to say that we won't be taking this for Xamarin.Forms anymore. Thank you all so much for your time and effort on this....
