Android Automotive OS (AAOS) App
I don't know if there's any scope for this in the roadmap, but it'd be great to see an AAOS app for Jellyfin. I understand Android Auto is supported, but there's no Android Automotive app.
Currently, AAOS users can use Jellyfin in Vivaldi web browser, but I imagine a native experience would be much smoother.
I don't know how much work would go into making this, especially as the apps available on AAOS are very limited and seem to take huge lengths of time to be released, so don't expect it to be completely straight forwards.
Absolutely I would be really interested into have any update on this. I realized basically no apps on AAOS allows to play own music on storage we own... 🫠

There is a plex aaos app for plexamp
I wrote a music client, although it's indeed difficult to publish apps on the AAOS playstore. If you're interested, you can drop me an email and I can add you to the internal test track.
@bendardenne Looks great! I don't use Jellyfin for music so wouldn't be any use to me unfortunately, I'm replacing my Polestar 2 with a Polestar 4 this month so would love Jellyfin video streaming more than ever now as I'll have a landscape screen for it!
I would love to see this feature as well. Also hoping to see VLC for AAOS.
