We can account for that as an option. This is an interesting question about how to implement it. We can add another option.
@m-bossart this is an issue to implement in the PowerSimulationsNode package. I will change the name to reflect what we want from PSID.
I am labeling this to some time in the future since it isn't really a priority w.r.t the implementation of the REE models and more modern case studies.

@YingboMa yeah that makes sense, it will force us to allocate the Jacobian matrix again to calculate the eigenvalues though.... but I guess it isn't that bad of a solution.
@sourabhdalvi I think this MR needs to be format fixed.

Can you update the the Project toml to IS 1.18 to re-run test?
This MR looks good but it seems that an unrelated change to JSON3 broke the tests
