For the next release, I'd like to include some presets. If you'd like to contribute your own preset, please copy the template below, and fill in your own parameter values:

As of version 2.7.0, presets can be saved as preset files. If you would like to submit your presets to be included in a future release, you can do so by attaching your preset files to this ticket (or emailing them), along with a name for the preset category.
I can't get over how good this preset sounds when you run Bridchar Blues trough it.
I'd be honored to have it included in the next release!
Also, could it be that some audio files use less DSP to process than others, even though they use the same samplerate? Somehow on a not realtime tuned system I can run the above mp4 trough the preset just fine, but an unmastered wav of the same song starts giving lots of xruns. With 4x oversampling both are fine.
On a realtime tuned system all of the above combinations work just fine. Was my test a one off fluke? Should I test again?
Awesome! I don't have a timeline yet for a next release, but I'll be sure to include this preset :).
It is true that the CPU usage of the plugin does depend somewhat on the input signal. In particular, the hysteresis equations have several different "paths" the processing might take depending on the current input sample, as well as the current "state" of the processor. Hope that answers your question!

Btw, can't believe I missed @magnetophon's preset, I'll definitely get that added at the same time. Do you have any other presets you would like added as well?

It would still be nice if they were added. Nevertheless, the presets should be cleaned a bit, because the plugin does not show the corrected filename (it respects only name= string in file) and unused settings are stored in them.
