Good evening, if I'm training a new language like Arabic should I use the same encodec that you have trained or train my own? and regarding the phonemes it has to be on the ipa format? any other advice?

Hello @jasonppy ! Now there are 3 of us =) Can you comment why Voicecraft did not use the Encodec pretrained for a general scenario?

If you finetune our released model, please use the released same encodec

I train a encodec myself because this way i can have fewer codebooks for a high fidelity resynthesis
