simple.htm ON/OFF not working

For me the on/off button in the simple.htm is not working. From index.htm it works fine

Same for me... For some reason I don't know, click handler is not attached to those buttons. I ended up eventually with addind onclick= parameters straight in simple.html. I know it is not elegant, but it is a workaround

I haven't looked at or used simple.htm in quite some time. It'll need to be reviewed and updated. Thanks!
