Problems with the limits of the 30 RTX series. Need help
Hi guys, everyone. I have encountered an unusual problem. The fact is that I had RTX 2070 installed on my Windows Server 2022. She calmly kept 18 virtual machines. But there was an emphasis on 8 GB of video memory.
I purchased an RTX 3090 since it has 24 GB of video memory. The problem is that I can't start the previous virtual machines on the 30 series of video cards, I tried 3060 (12GB), 3080ti, the same problem everywhere. The system starts normally until about 9-10 in, in the rest there are problems, a black screen, or a hang at the time of the UEFI start. but even these 9-10 pieces do not work correctly if they are all loaded. I don't understand what's the matter, the 2070 video card worked fine, there was just not enough memory. I tried the driver of different years, even the very first ones... Tried to patch .dll files https://github.com/keylase/nvidia-patch/blob/master/win/README.md it didn't help, patched both on the host and on virtual machines
If you get a stuck screen then try:
- WIN+SHIFT+CTRL+B to reset the driver on host
- Disable ResizeBAR in bios.

It seems to me there is no resizebar on the x99 platform
