GTA V alt-tab crash

I have been trying to fix this issue for hours but I honestly have ran out of ideas, when I run it in Windowed mode it crashes instantly. It works fine in fullscreen but the downside is you can't alt-tab at all or it will crash with the D3D error.

Has anyone found a way to fix this issue? since slowly driving me insane.

Also I read that it used to work fine before like a year ago but something happened and now it crashes when you alt tab. fix-err-gfx-d3d-init

I would put the game in fullscreen windowed or straight windowed mode.

Go in the settings file and change it from windowed mode to full screen that will fix it. If you want to alt tab use CTRL+ALT+DELTE then click cancel
