Print screen causes tree width to reset
If you reduce the width of a tree using control zoom and then press p to print screen the tree jumps back to default width before printing to svg.
Is there any work-around to this bug yet?
Hi @sabrinadiemert, I don't think so. Feel free to dive in if you can!
Does the SVG reflect the zoomed-in view or is it also the default width?
@jameshadfield, alas, I think fixing the bug may be a bit beyond my skill level :)
It's occurring pretty much as @simonrharris commented: I'm trying to shrink the tree size using ctrl + zoom (since the labels are ending up behind my metadata), and as soon as I hit p it jumps back to the default tree view. Both the tree as shown on Phandango and the .svg file look this way (default tree width).
Thanks for confirming though! I ended up just exporting the svgs and editing them manually to look the way I needed - the node labels aren't actually important for me so I cut them out.
This hasn't been fixed? We cannot see the names on the tip of the tree. Also: a) the % plot in the bottom is not always plotted (can't figure out when why yes/no) b) the tree scale bar not plotted, c) and a colour legend for the metadata would be great! Else we have to insert it manually too. Thanks
