Why can't clients ping the server?

The game still works but the ping indicator always shows a red dot. I've seen the meaningful ping number one or two times, but it almost always shows a red dot.

Is this a bedrock bug or is there something wrong with my setup?

I've just noticed that when you ping from a different network, it shows the ping number correctly.

That'll be a bedrock bug and nothing specific to this image.
